Cleveland Clinic is one of the largest and most respected hospitals in the country. The mission is to provide better care of the sick, investigation into their problems, and further education of those who serve. The Cleveland Clinic partnered with IPWebMedia to unify their visual brand narrative, and messaging through content and strategy.
TESTING, REVIEW & LAUNCH
This stage, the stage of discovering and researching, determines how the subsequent steps will look like. The most important task at this point is to get the clear understanding of your future website purposes, the main goals you wish to get, and the target audience you want to attract to your site. Such kind of a website development questionnaire helps to develop the best strategy for further.
Adaptive design first identifies the device loading the page, then generates and serves a version of the page designed for that kind of device. This requires a lot of careful set up and includes an additional server back-and-forth call to identify the device, so it’s slower than most options. This responsive format development is even more important because Google takes "the mobile devices compatibility" into account, as one of the variables to rank sites in searches. So, those who do not adhere to a responsive design are clearly harmed. The final result, after this partnership between Cleveland Hospital and IPWebMedia, is a website where it is easier and more appealing to browse, with better usability, and with more potential to grow among its target audience.
Through a strategic, phased approach, IPWebMedia launched a pre-race and real-time version of the website to coordinate with the MINI TAKES THE STATES road rally. In order to ramp up excitement for the second phase of the site, a real-time countdown clock to the start of the rally was integrated in Phase I. Phase I introduced the user to the social feed integration to the site and encouraged drivers to contribute content while they were on their trip. Phase II tracked the live rally, allowing users to follow the progress and participate in a dynamic social feed, embracing the importance of the community to the Cleveland Hospital.
